First race accomplished. Goal was to take it easy for this first stage. Due to the calender next week. 5 single stages and a team rolling in Oman. Surprising results. Not only for my team, (2nd, 10th and 17th). I expected 'En Danseuse' and is Quiller on a holiday? Did he got stuck somewhere in the south of France following the Tour? Great victory for JOOP. Congratz. Looking forward to Colombia and Oman. That will be totally different.

nice win for Joop, for me and what I have all seen so far (and heard:p) he is my #1 candidate; certainly after his last buy Arsenal with Strauss and now Szekely, and Headcase with his better/older guys will do good as well

#1 and #1bis: Vroompie and Joopie. Devilish teams. First week: taking it easy, could have had a win (first stage), but there are yet many to come. For what I have seen so far, I guess to be happy to survive this season in 2:1. I'm pretty sure I will win some stages, but ... Standings in the Div. After day 1: 2nd - after day 2: 3rd - after day 3: 4th... Where is this going to end after day 96?? Somewhere in Div 8:9??

I missed Szekely today, what's happening?

I kept one old rider for the sprint races and he even won today! I didn't expect that, his form value was 4. So watch out for him: who knows what he's capable of at full form!

nice one poekie, congrats. Can anyone tell me exactly how the final sprint is calculated? Is it sprint x2 + skill# of the final sector?
chakra; nice to see you looking at me as a favorite, but I am really not. I have a few good cyclists, but I will lose too many points against the others just because my squad is so age balanced. The younger ones are just not ready to compete against the 30+ guys from the other teams. In the classics you earn 100pnt/win, then it goes fast in the GC when teams are close to each other
as I said, keep an eye on Arsenal. Good squad, good manager with experience

The end sprint is as I understand: 0,25*flat*sprintskill+ last-stroke*terrain_Skill. BUt I guess length, helpers, form and mood can have a huge influence as well.

Going down faster than I thought and than I wanted. This is going to end in Div 16:9...

The start of my season is 'reasonable'... I believe this time I might have a chance to stay in second division!!!!

bosko I suppose the second table is the number of cyclists in top 10 on places 1, 2 , 3 ... ?

bosko I suppose the second table is the number of cyclists in top 10 on places 1, 2 , 3 ... ? Indeed. You for example had 1 cyclist on place 2 and 3 cyclists on place 6 tot 10.

Always been, not the most active division here. Arsenal and gik read the forum, but they dont post much. No idea where the others are
Good win today for you. I took the gamble and let niculaie stay in the group at AP1. He had 3 helpers to control the paste in the peloton. At the 2nd AP he went alone, no one joined him. But the gap was already more then 2mins. Couldnt catch Grilo anymore
