Surprised to see Velardi winning today, not even riding on max effort. I expected Labadie to be able to decide the race on the long mountain part at the end.. Especially because he was still quite close behind the leaders before that part.

Winning while not going on full effort, that impressive! You definitely made a good choice to save Velardi for this tour. And he has still some fitness left to for a decent GC, although it will be difficult to beat Sloodts who is 6 minutes ahead.
Also some strong competitors for today's stage left with Grazziotin, Gommers and home-rider Faia.

Not enough mountain for Grazziotin I think. I'm afraid he already lost too many skill points in other areas to battle for the win in stages like this one.

Well, that was closer than I thought, but Bam keeps pulling up all these 'new' relatively young riders (Ercolini already last week). Scary On the upside, I was sure Grazziotin would already do way worse in a race like this, so that gives some hope for future performances this season.

Seems Bam actually bought that guy from Ab 1 year ago, haha, that must sting a little bit...

Grazziotin came really close at that last mountain, Savi lost 39 seconds in those 5km. I indeed think that Grazziotin isn't done this season, he may grab some wins later on. Quite surprised to see Savi winning though, I didn't think he was ready for that just yet. Indeed, I bought that rider from Ab, but of course he did do a lot of training since then. So I'm not giving all credits to him

A really good fight this season with 3 teams with 500 points. Seems is the Dutch vs rest of the world.
Really happy for my 1st points this season, I can only fight for YG and maybe some U21 races, lets see tomorow if I can get one place in the podium.

Seems Bam actually bought that guy from Ab 1 year ago, haha, that must sting a little bit... Hahahaha, well, I did sell him for a reason, I will not tell of course about his stats back then, that is not fair. But it doesn't sting. It's not the only the rider, also the manager's skill. Bam saved an attackpoint for the last part and I didn't, so it is also good managers skills and Bam just did better than I did. And of course Heppie and Bams trick to get all riders to maximum mood sure helped too.

Exciting race today, really close till the finish. Tomorrow a youngster race, which is always more difficult to predict.

I have no trained 21 years olds this season, so the u21 races are going to hurt me. Possibly Debellefroi might be able to get some decent results.

Was indeed a very difficult one to predict with all these falls I don't think I've ever seen so many teams (5!) loosing their main guy because of a fall. I like winning of course, but not really in this way to be honest...

Five final sprinters falling in two downhill stretches, that's almost half of the main guy of half of the teams ... A pity for me because I think Bilsen had a good chance for a podium spot, but okay with his low balance one could expect a fall.
Tomorrow the Strade Bianche, one of the nicest races in real, but unfortunately we don't have sterrati stretches in Peloton .
