Since the top teams go for stage wins, its easier for us, lower teams, to gain a good result in GC of tours. In giro happened the same. Also, no real fitness trainer in div1, only joanteam. So you all see it now, a well trained multiskill cyclist can get you very far.

So you all see it now, a well trained multiskill cyclist can get you very far. And I realized it too late. I was going only for the stages too with Bochinsky, he attacked only in two stages and finished 3rd with 60% fitness.

rarau what made you think that you would win it with a 22y old guy? You already lost against van den Hende (in Japan i think), and schepers is even 2 years older.
impressive win, a bit frustrating for others, but Malton won with only 90% fitness. I had good hopes to go for a stage win with Dodos on sunday evening, but losing more then 1 minute is not even coming close:s

Wonderfull results today for : - my cyclist Lemius , finish 3, probable my best results of the season - Saloiu 28y, Op, finish 4 ( what transfer history he have ) - Gentilhomme 24y , Toss, place 11, who crush all the youngsters, but of course the other youngs are with high fitness

Without that it would have been very very close on the final climb. Nice to see Malton grab back to back wins though (although I was not so happy with the bonuses I had to pay out for the jerseys).

thnx heppie. I'm in a nice battle with Dan, will be tight i guess.
mountain guy won't get you far in Vuelta. Many flat parts, and 5 stages in the first week. I think Joan will get far with his fitness. And i would keep an eye on bochinsky and velardi. I assume that the top teams go for stage wins again...

Tight battle indeed, a difference of only 5 points. No clue to which side it will fall. And you're right about the stage hunting in the Vuelta, at least regarding my team. There are many nice stages this Vuelta, so it was actually difficult to choose . By the way, my compliments to bam for this calendar. In general I really like it, because of the many races that can be won by different types of cyclist.

There are many nice stages this Vueltafor me are not so many probably i dont have too many polivalents or because my hill is low. Happy about today, low time between teams. But i dont understood how Joan win today. Have all cyclists with flat more then 8 or very high tt?? ( at least 12 tt for all cyclists??) I wanted good results on Spain on General Standings but my captain dont allow me

yes, probabely. My cyclists already have an avarge of 11+ tt and 9+ flat, so...
I had my doubts about the calendar at the beginning of the season. But it turned out very nicely. Unpredictable. The times where you could easily predict the winner are gone. Good work bam.

I wanted good results on Spain on General Standings but my captain dont allow me That I don't understand. You only need LS 6 to have good results in GC.
