Some bids for Italy? who will win?
I'm a little disapointed about Japan, i expected more from Parasca. Also i finish on 5 on youngsters on same time with number 3
What are your impression after Japan?

Win number 300 in my Peloton career! Funny that De Vylder got it for me, it is his first win in division 1. Congratz, with your 300th win. As you can see in the stats, you had a very good week. Hope I can close the gap a bit in Japan. And you did close the gap entirely in Japan! This time a very good week for you. But I hope to get the second place back this week

Chitul is currently in front of him, but with only 79% fitness I don't think he can manage it to keep the pink till the end (if he tries). I tend to remember that Fraiteur is not the best climber or hill rider (more a flat allrounder), but he is very close to Velardi, so it's possible. Germis I don't know too well, he might be a better climber than Velardi. I think that especially Reckmann (with good hill and mountain stats), but also Shinnagh, are dark horses for the pink, but I doubt that they will try. But at this moment, I think Velardi has the best chances.

Reckmann did a good job for the GC today moving to place 4. Chitul also attacked but lost, besides Reckmann, time on Shinnagh and Loest. I agree with bam that Chitul is probably not fit enough to keep it, especially as today's stage is one that should suit him well (as far as I remember the stats of Chitul from a few seasons ago). Velardi saved fitness today and finished in the first peloton losing a couple of minutes on the other GC cyclists, on the other hand the advantage in fitness it gives could be worth it. All together my bet is also on Velardi.

This time a very good week for you. But I hope to get the second place back this week You probably will. I have only Verstraeten left in the Giro to attack, but I think he is too young to score a podium place in a stage. By the way Froment really surprised me today with his second place only 45 seconds from Gonnissen. He's 31 so there's still some time to improve him .

I said to me, ok Raps place 7 but is young but when i see your cyclist age i wasn't too happy Now i see that in first attack point was 1. Gonnissen 1 02:03:31 2. Klinnert 1 02:03:31 3. Froment 1 02:03:31 4. Reckmann 2 02:03:35 5. Prates 3 02:04:35 6. Shinnagh 3 02:04:35 7. Raps 3 02:04:35 8. Bertol 3 02:04:35 9. Frenay 3 02:04:35 10. Loest 3 02:04:35 11. Torroni 4 02:04:37 but Raps have good/medium hill and sprint For GS i expect like you 2 Velardi and maybe Loest and Reckmann I didnt expect Reckamann to be so good today at only 75% attacking Of course if are cyclists not played at GS i will be very happy, in this way my Frenay have chances to finish top 10. I hoped on a top 3 on a race from Italy but no chances. Today i thinked i have the most chanches.

Hope a top 10 GS for my Frenay but could lose very much time tomorrow in mountains.

Frenay is a bit fitter than most cyclist that are behind him in the GC and he has >4 minutes on the number 11 (Grazziotin). On the other hand, if he is not a good climber than 4 minutes might not be enough.

Frenay have all skills better then 5 he have for example downhill 5 but all skills are medium do not exceed 10 the only skill very goood is time trial , this is the reason he have so high wage. His FA on mountain is low, probbly his FA on hill is awesome but i didnt test his hill

interesting race today ) my ITT specialist on Save Fitness better then my GS cyclist ITT specialist have less mountain then GS but better fitness. But GS Frenay have better Height, Weight for mountains my captain injured -> the good thing is that on ITT doesnt count LS of captain and is injured only 1 week. only good thing i see that my GS Frenay is the only one in first 30 cyclists without points on green jersey or mountain jersey ) i m so close to finish 1 this season Probably my captain injured because dont wanted to finish last in Italy First time in division 1.1 when mountain jersey is established by time not points. Standings mountain Nr Cyclist Pts 1. Giorgino 20 2. Guth 20 3. Lasat 20 I think GS jersey will be between Reckmann and Germis. I dont think Reckmann will lose more then 7 minutes tomorrow even he have little fitness And next week ... France ... all cyclists will be tired i m curious if we see someone in France from Italy

Watching the result in div 1 strange to see that the teams from the top had difficulties to place riders in the top10.
What happen? Didn't follow closelly the stage results.

The teams in the top 3 ( eboese, bam and I) are more hunting for stages and do no really go for the GC. In short tours this can give a good result in the GC as well, but in the big tours this doesn't work.

It's possible, but you would have to do fitness training along with it and I don't think any of us did that. I rarely go for the GC, especially in the big tours. Having 1 guy in your team that needs to attack almost every day doesn't leave you with a lot of other tactical options.

That's a pretty nice spread of the points. I'm starting to feel some of my guys are losing their magic and some of the younger riders are starting to turn up in front of the races. New champion next season?
