Good reading of the route. I like that passion, so a well deserved (provisional) jersey. Well, Rossetto had exactly the same plan a few days ago, but you know what happened. Rossetto has a 0 on mountain, so that would have been 'funny' if he would have taken that jersey.
Today a nice acquaintance with Tersago. Riding almost in front on the mountain parts ... surprising. He lost it on the last hill part (he has a 0 on hill), but thats side issue. Next week I try him for sure.
Edit: and about the standings ... I start fearing my 3th place. That still can be a nice battle with SeMTeX if he continues like that.

Carnea did his work and took the first mountain points on a hill. Foolwood made sure there was'nt a lot of mountain points left by taking 3 points at the first mountain sprint. They both took off at the first escape point to attack again for the next mountain sprint, again on a hill This time Fulwood took 5 points and Carnea with his last effort for the mountain jersey took his last 3 points. Now there are 2 non-climbers top ranked for mountain jersey with only one mountain stage left (max 20 pts) Finaly while taking away mountain points for the rest of the peloton Fulwood ended as stage winner. Fulwood also managed to take back the points jersey It was also his 3d stage win this TDF. Hehe, this manager is very glad his tacticks worked yet again

This is going to be an insane Tour de France for you, SeMTeX. Foolwood (like you call him - lol) surprised me today. He survived well the mountains, good for his 3th stagewin. Knowing he won both earlier sprintstages, for sure he wins the last stage in Paris too. That would be 4 ! (!!) Easy to predict Vanlanduyt will win the TT. That makes winning you ... umm ... almost all. Crazy ! Well, I have to say you used good tactics too. Nice played.
I wonder if Firle is suffering from (big) skilldecreases of this riders. Geni and Duris are 36 and 37: almost unbeatable in the beginning of the season, now even my 23 year old rider (say hi to Tersago, folks) passes them easely.
And PAN took a subscription on the hospital, I think. Lost already 3 riders this Tour - outh !

Hehe Foolwood, LOL did'nt notice I wrote that Well I'm semi-surprised to; Foolwood has only 5 mountain but the rest of the terrain compensated, also because I let him put quite a bit of effort (att on 85%). Tomorow will be different where the percentage of mountain terrain is much higher. Actually it's the only real mountain stage in the TDF this season. So watch out for bigger time-losses tomorow. We'll need a bit of luck to keep mountain jersey, green jersey seems closer. What you said about Firl's riders: I hope so, maybe Rode can catch up a bit more during the second half of this season. Makes it a lot more interesting for the fight in our division. Good luck

Nice riding SeMTeX. Also saying hi to Tersago. Try to learn from your tactics. That is something I try to learn more every race. My tactics for this tour are too predictable. But my only goal is to keep Bruylandts as high as possible. I don't expect I can make it hard for Firle. I will see what happens. Torres gained a LS point but that will be for a next round. Oh I could have used it.

Oh yea Hi Tersago you've got a great team Slayer; so young and allready competitive.. You must have won almost every youngster jersey up till now. @ Rode: If Bruylandts survives tomorow in the mountains then I guess he will end up in podium of this TDF. He has to cause I predicted it podium prono 1. Duris (Firle Bostal) 2. Bruylands (Rode Lantaarn) 3. Geni (Firle Bostal)

Congrats for Bruylandts (Rode) with the stage win. I think thx to the extra 5% effort. If I'm not wrong Bruylandts attacked with 80%, the other 3 finalists with 75%.
Race report:
First attack: Duris (Firle Bostal), Geni (Firle Bostal), Bruylandts (DeRodeLantaarn) and Fulwood (SeMTeX) -- Fulwood 12" ahead of the other 3 ... untill: Fulwood has a flat tire! But is still faster than the rest for the first intermediate sprint. (bam 5 extra points for points-jersey)
2nd attack point: Geni (Firle Bostal), Duris (Firle Bostal) and Bruylandts (DeRodeLantaarn) Bruylandts manages to get a small gap 1. Bruylandts 1 01:06:12
2. Duris 2 01:06:25 3. Geni 2 01:06:25 Fulwood's adventure is over, he is back in the peloton.
3d attack point: Fulwood breaks away from the peloton after a short rest. Bruylandts is passed by Geni and Duris. 1. Geni 1 01:31:25 2. Duris 1 01:31:25
3. Bruylandts 2 01:31:39
4. Fulwood 3 01:31:56
AND AGAIN flat tire Fulwood witch costs him 64"
1. Duris 1 01:49:15 2. Geni 1 01:49:15 3. Bruylandts 2 01:49:25 4. Fulwood 3 01:50:29
Bruylandts manages to catch up wit Duris-Geni, so a 3 man escape with Fulwood as follower.
Attack point: Bruylandts takes off in the climb to the 3d mountain and Fulwood finally catches up with Duris-Geni
1. Bruylandts 1 02:40:30
2. Duris 2 02:40:55 3. Geni 2 02:40:55 4. Fulwood 2 02:40:55
After the 3d mountain climb 1. Bruylandts 1 03:13:38
2. Duris 2 03:14:03
3. Geni 3 03:14:41
4. Fulwood 4 03:14:59
After 4th and last climb 1. Bruylandts 1 03:56:18
2. Duris 2 03:56:41
3. Geni 3 03:57:45
4. Fulwood 4 03:58:18
Last attack point: 1. Bruylandts 1 04:05:06
2. Duris 2 04:05:28
3. Geni 3 04:06:28 4. Fulwood 3 04:06:28
Finish
1. Bruylandts 0 0 04:18:51 DeRodeLantaarn
2. Duris 0 0 00:00:27 Firle Bostal
3. Geni 0 0 00:01:26 Firle Bostal 4. Fulwood 2 0 same time SeMTeX
Does anyone know why Geni is 3d? ended same time and I'm sertain Fulwood has more sprint. It's something that's puzzeling me.
Well no mountain jersey for SeMTeX .. It was a very close one. Points jersey is still a possible goal. So congrats to Firle for the mountain jersey; rest is not decided yet but I guess it's Firl for yellow jersey also. Congrats to Slayer for the youngster-jersey; can't see that slipping away anymore.

TDF - ITT
Vanlanduyt wins the ITT, wich is no surprise I guess.
We also know podium for tomorow:
1. Geni 61 17 1.15:24:56 Time jersey Firle Bostal 2. Duris 55 44 +1 Mountain jersey Firle Bostal 3. Bruylandts 59 38 +4:46 DeRodeLantaarn 4. Biagianti 21 11 +21:47 Euskadi Basque Country-Murias 5. Fulwood 66 34 +22:09 Points jersey SeMTeX 6. Torres 41 3 +25:13 DeRodeLantaarn 7. Baroncelli 16 0 +25:27 DeRodeLantaarn 8. Vergobbi 16 0 +26:32 DeRodeLantaarn 9. Gonzalez 13 0 +26:42 Firle Bostal 10. Vladoiu 5 0 +28:31 Firle Bostal
Firle wins this one with 2 jersey's (time and mountain) Pointsjersey is still not certain but Fulwood is favorite. Rode has Bruylandts for podium 3d place + a great team effort with 4 riders in the top 10 White jersey is certainly for Slayer with the top 4 places. Magnificent young team.. He'll be at the top in a few seasons.
One more stage to go, sprint it is...

Nice win for Vanlanduyt. Indeed no surprise. Green for Fulwood and stage win looks a matter of time. I tried to attack Firle but lost to much time in stage 2. A stupid mistake after all. Well no problem. Enough changes to come. Congrats to the winners. And agree on Slayer's youngsters.

Tour de Pologne
1st stage winner Angelier Fantachicca, congrats with the win. Pretty convinsing with a nearly 4' time gap.
Tough tour with a lot of mountain so also hard to speculate. Guess we will know more after tomorrow's stage.
Good luck everyone.
