Nice tour for SeMTeX again. 2 stages + mountain jersey. Going great last weeks. Euskadi's tour this time with first and third place. Long time since Firle Bostal won a race. And Slayer won first stage + Points jersey and keeps winning jouth jersey, nice for the future.
Friday TDF (Tour de France), any comments in advance?

For team SeMTeX: First week will be dreadfull because of low fitness. Aiming at 2 stage-wins. Anyone care to let us know what the plans are for your team? Any one up for a prono?

podium prono
1. Duris (Firle Bostal) 2. Bruylands (Rode Lantaarn) 3. Geni (Firle Bostal)
p.s. Fantachicca has not entered a team yet; so there is a chance if he joins the race he could be on podium with one of his cyclists. Namely because of his fitness coach.

Nice presentation - a prono ? Duris/Geni will do great for sure. Let's hope Bruylands can compete or the GC will be pretty boring. - my plans ? Honestly: no idea. I can tell tomorrow after the first stage. If my riders don't lose too much time there, I go for the Youth Jersey. Otherways they try to get some decent stage results. In big lines: - Rossetto: there is one really perfect stage for him, hoping to take the flowers there - Flebus: probably my best shot for the GC, only if the first stage isn't a disaster - Tersago: making stages to fulfill his contract, think he will choose a stage somewhere - Heuts: stagehunter number 3, I give him 85% chance to make it - VDE: first class helper But as said: all depends of the first stage, plans can be changed easily. Good luck everyone !

Nice sprint of Fulwood. Good for his moral. If he wins today, there's a good chance he wins sunday too.
There is a reason why in the begin of the season you didn't win, and now it seems like you are unstoppable ! Better terrain for your riders ? Or they like more a big tour ?
Yeah ... todays race went pretty well. That my riders are 1 to 5, is mostly caused by lack of other youngsters, not by exceptional skills of my riders. Still doubting what to do with them. It will be day by day, I guess.

Can't figger it out myself why there were no stage-wins for my team the first 4-5 weeks. No idea. My tactics are the same.

Here we go again. 2nd Stage TDF; 2nd win for SeMTeX.
This time with Carnea.
Great end sprint in the end... 1. Geni 1 04:59:06 2. Duris 2 04:59:22 3. Biagianti 2 04:59:22 4. Carnea 2 04:59:22 ...where Geni had managed to get 16" ahead of the first 4 riders. Carnea sprinted to the finish and passed him.

Impressive sprint, and idem dito winning streak. If you don't count the U21 race, you got 4 in a row. Tomorrow probably number 5. Firle should start panicing !
Today was such a typical bale day for my team: - Heuts falls in the first part, the peloton refuses to wait for him, making him miss the good escape - Flebus is in the first group, but falls, loses contact and disappears in anonymity - and Tersago isn't even strong enough to escape, nor at the first AP, nor at the 2nd AP ... terribly bad
It makes me more confused what to do the coming races. Gut feeling probably.

Nice sprint of Fulwood. Good for his moral. If he wins today, there's a good chance he wins sunday too. Yep he did. That's 3 out of 3 races for our team in the TDF. Well I did not think this would happen before the TDF so I'm very happy

Congrats Mike! I think there will be more stage wins. Strange day today. First I thougt no breakaway. The peleton will come back. Later I changed it in breakaway for 4 guys and Urzica as helper. Glad I did. For Bruylandts there is no hope for a good GC. I made a tactical error in stage 2. I send Urzica away and I never expected to lose that much time. So what rest is to get him on the podium, but Firle is to far ahead in my opinion.

Geni (from Firle) has +9' on your Urzica but if it's podium you're aiming at... Urzica is only 1'15" behind third place. 1. Geni 26 3 14:44:59 Time jersey Firle Bostal 2. Duris 18 6 +3:03 Mountain jersey Firle Bostal 3. Heuts 5 0 +7:49 Slayer772004 4. Urzica 7 0 +9:07 DeRodeLantaarnAlso Bruylandts is only 50" behind Urzica. Still time to swap him for GC. Anyway it's way to early to start thinking about TDF podium 3 stages TDF this week: my team will not compeat for stage-win this week; time to rest

You are right it is to early to think about the podium. Urzica will go down in the GC because his climbing skills aren't so good.
We will see how it goes from here. I expect Firle wil continue his leading positions and slowly the gap will grow. Good luck for the next stages!
