Season 17 is already 2 races old, so it's time for a new thread. Welcome all, especially the three debutants in this division J.M Jimenez, Gonzales and Lucero. I just observed that Lucero promoted every season since the start of his team in season 12, impressive! I'm curious if Tossboom can challenge de Droeftoeters this year. Behind that I hope to get a third third place. Good luck all!

Good luck to all. Happy with the start. Goal is to get a little closer to Eboese. Challenging will be a little too much.

So far it are Tossboom and de Droeftoeters who divide stage wins and jerseys. A bit of a slow start for both bam and me, but the season is long, so still time to improve...

Hello to all! I wasn't in the division with Lucero and Gonzalez before, so curious to see how they will do. I hope I can become 4th again, but I'm not sure. Indeed a slow start for me. Characteristic on that point was that my best result last week was obtained by a 26 year old cyclist. I guess my older ones have a little room for improvement the next weeks

Certainly not a slow start by Tossboom! 633 points, impressive. The two TT's did me in this week, even though the guys did really well in the other races. Looks like Tossboom is going all-in this season, noticed a lot of fitness training over the weekend. Let's see how this works out, but I might have to rethink my strategy a bit if he keeps hitting hard like this.
Good luck to all for the new season!

This week is also for Tossboom, who enlarges the gap with de Droeftoeters. Behind that, there is already a big gap to the rest. As the season is still young, there are a lot of position changes.

Yeah, the heat is on! Time to apply that chance in strategy, let's see if it helps. Good stuff, Toss!

Haha, with all those multi day tours split over 2 weeks and you pushing me to the limit there doesn't seem to be too much choice. And heck yeah, I see a gap of 300 points, of course I'm getting nervous

Impressive performance by Guth and Malton. A gap of about 10 minutes with Tossboom's cyclists and number 18 finishes more than one hour later.

Haha, we agreed to take it easy in the u21 races. Is that not enough? Happier about the standings now, didn't expect to close the gap quite as quickly. Seems we are in for a nice fight, Toss!

I have no illusions about a real fight. My fitness training and 2 ITT's gave me the edge but now the surprise element is gone and the quality difference shows clearly. One day you're going to have to share some of you riders stats, I'm sure we're all very keen to know what the rest is lacking.
