I hope this week my trainer skill decreases in flat from 19 to 15. That will be a good thing. from wiki A trainer has 18 flat, 20 mountain and 15 fitness. All three skills will now be taken into account, because fitness is within a range of 5 skill points. If flat is lowered, it will be lowered with only 3 points as a skill can't be lowered under 15. peloton.wikidot.com/trainingTrainer always loses the highest skill. So Chakra's trainer indeed will drop to 15 on flat.

Looks like the end for me...had to put my best riders for sale after I realised I could not buy any more merchandise due to debt. If I survive Sunday's update then my team will not be in a state to challenge much for the rest of the season. Where I sit in the division it might be worth me letting the team slip a couple more placings in the standings to get relegation and hopefully next season some money! Glad you are doing well Alesana After you sold riders you should be able to buy merchandise!

(I have already been in that situation) One skill 17 one skill 18 one skill 19 and he dropped in the 17 skill. We'll see on Sunday. You can read it too on the wiki you mentionned. Nevertheles I hope you're right and flat drops.

I have had a lot of trainer drops. And in 100% of the cases it has been the highest skill.

I am back afloat...thanks to good sales with my best five riders I now can buy merchandise
I have sacked both my trainer and youth scout so will manage until the end of the season without them. I will also limp along with current 20 riders abd see if I get enough points to stay up.
Doing well in U21 tour with 3rd place Ofsak only 1:21 behind leader. He is on 90% whereas others I on 65% or slightly more so have a good chance at the yellow jersey :-)

So your cyclists get at least some training. Otherwise you will keep on struggeling forever

If money is the issue I suggest 10 and train it up to 15, it's cheaper then buying a skil 15

I suggest you take a trainer with 1 skill 10 and train him up to 15 till you're sure to be financial safe and afterwards up to 18. As for the U21 tour I first hoped for a top 10 with Van Eynde, then I saw he had only 85% fitness left. I was too late to change tactics, so even with an effort of 100% I hoped a top 20 result. Imagine my surprise when he finished 1st in this stage. Surely cause he is a rather fresh pull. His skills? 1-2-0-4-3-0. The combination downhill-sprint did it. With only 50% fitness left, he will soon be out of the top 20. Probably already after todays stage. So GO OFSAK GO!! Go for your first victory or your first Time Jersey!! Goodluck.

Thanks...bought a 15 skill trainer today and still OK, in the black
looked at my remaining 20 riders and worked some tactics until the end of the season.
Those youngsters are highly variable but your fresh pull sounds good. The zeros in the skills worries me but of course could be anywhere from 0 to 0.99 in effect. any 3 or 4 skill levels in 18 or 19 year olds is excellent! Of course the margins are less tight than the seniors as a fitness disadvantage can be easily made up (i.e. 1 x 100 vs 4 x 50 twice as fast!)

YES YES YES! Ofsak did it. He won the stage, he's got the time jersey with nearly 4 minutes in front, points jersey, youth jersey and the team ranking is for Polhill too. Great! Congratz Andy. The begin of crawling out of the deep.
Mine did not so well today, 3 falls and a flat. But hey, 4 out of 5 win pricemoney.

Well, glad you find the way to the forum again.
I suppose you are the team manager of BJA Cycling team?
The team that has something to say in every GC in every stage and tour? The team making it hard for c@isse to stay ahead in the Div ranking? The team I will never catch up?
I'm glad we can have some activity on this topic.

Haha yes I am, It's going perfect so far. All those second places prefend me from paying my riders any more bonuses. And I am very solvable this moment (7 million in the black). I am certainly not complaining . But you are still hanging in there in 3rd place? Not so far of the top2? I actually didnt know that Caisse was also promoted from div4 last season. I even made a mistake during the Giro with the fitness of my riders . And I do forget to subscribe for races (will happen again)

Yes, 3rd place in GC and hoping to remain there.
U21 did go well for you. 2 - 5 - 6 in the stage and 2 - 6 - 7 - 9 in GC. and PJ. not bad.
Glad you made a fitness mistake during the Giro :-) Roland take the mountain jersey. But financially it's just for the honour. With a mountainskill not that high (11,3) amazing!! I thought there were more and better mountaineers.
Tomorrow final stage of the first grand tour.
