Zapardiel for sure back to first division
The 2nd place will be tight this year, in my opinion
I would even guess Jimenez
I hope to compete as long as possible for promotion, so i will go for place 2, 3 or 4
Hopefully Zapardiel will not overclass us all like Nightbiker last year...

I'm in div 2 for the first time, I hope I can stay in this division but that would be very difficult. I didn't expect to get in division 2 so fast. I don't know the other teams, but I guess Zapardiel and Op kop de sloot in will be the strongest teams this season. My goal for this season: try to win a race, or a few races. Good luck everyone!

1.5 hours before the start of the first race
10 teams entered, only Lions Of Avalon (not a surprise) and Jimenez (quite a surprise) didn't enter I hope Jimenez still enters or comes online somewhere this week, it's more fun to compete with as many teams as possible (my opinion)
Good luck today, curious about the new teams!

Today i hoped for a top 3 from 2 of my best cyclists on flat + TT
It wasn't to be.
My goal : to win 5 races
I don't think i will have chances on General Standings, but who know?
Jiménez i think he have especially mountain goats (or at least that i remember from last time on here) He was online yesterday.

Second place, a nice start of the season I think.
I'm afraid Jiminez will not be as competitive as previous seasons. Only 14 riders left in his team, and 4 of them are for sale as well. I think he will go for youngsters.
Last season I was 3rd and with Lions of Avalon in the division I guess I should set promotion as goal. Don't know if it is reachable as the calender does not really fit me, but I will give it a try.
Good luck to everyone!

The calender does not rally fit youre team?
Can anyone tell me what the callender looks like, maybe compared to last season... something like there is more hill than last year or whatever

The calender does not rally fit youre team? Can anyone tell me what the callender looks like, maybe compared to last season... something like there is more hill than last year or whatever The exact numbers per terrain (from the planning sheet of Schizm ) are Terrain | Last season (%)
| This season (%)
| Flat | 42.43
| 43.04
| Hill | 19.33
| 17.95
| Mountain | 13.04
| 14.64
| Downhill | 25.20
| 24.36
|
(Due to rounding off the column of this season does not add up to 100)So, a bit more flat, less hill, more mountain and less downhill. But the reason why I said it doesn't really fit my team is that I often need rather allround stages to win and I had the feeling there were less of these (and more specific stages) than last season. But we will see, I may be wrong.

ouch I don't like less hill and downhill ;( I wouldn't pay too much attention to those numbers. The biggest difference is about 1,5% and the numbers say nothing about the attack points, terraintype finish etc. I'm sure you can create 2 races with the same total terrainnumbers but with a different winner. I had a little bad luck so far. My best guy for this tour (beated Migliasso last year in Tour of Oman) got injured during season update. So I pick someone else for the GC and I save someone for the sprint stage. First race: GC guy falls twice (3rd place might have been possible otherwise), sprinter fell AND got injured (was slightly hoping for a stage win on thursday).

bosko: injuries are never nice, I'm allways in favor for an equal fight Gommeren got injured last year in Oman, otherwise a podium would have been a possibility. I am aiming for the GC With Gommeren and a top three with Battesti in the sprint Thursday

obviously happy to get off to a winning start, but big mig is always the rider who delivers most!
As for the season, probably aiming for mid table with a bit of restructuring
