I wanted to send a Merry Xmas somewhere on the forum but couldn't think of one thread that most would see it and it didn't seem worth a new thread (no one uses the off topic bit)
In game...I didn't manage to set orders today (again), have been ok most of this week. I've been close to 0 and debt for ages but today is the first week I've not been able to buy a full set of merchandise :/ Not great news.

Seems like a lot of managers are strugling. I myself need to look at my cyclists to sell a few
Current balance: $884,085 Balance estimation next week: $255,842
At this rate it's only a few weeks from bankrupt
The strugle is not having a lot of teams with money to buy good cyclists, because most of them also have money problems. Hopefully this will change with the ongoing poll for higher basic sups, might not even be enough and when will it take place, ... might be to late for some managers.
Hopefully we won't get quiting managers because of these money shortages. In my case: I'm not planning to keep playing this game if nothing changes becaus the fun of it is dissapearing. I could probably stay in 2nd div but I will be forced to relegate and try and get more money in a lower division, but if all managers do the same, there will be a problem there too. Relegating to earn money to survive is the wrong message this game is telling you. So I conclude the game is not put together well enough finacial wise.
Don't know if you follow my drift here. Could be because of the Enlish language...

I'm afraid De Scheefspuiters has given up the game Last login: 25 november... This team has no manager... But still to the rest: Merry Christmas and the beste wishes for 2016 Me very happy with the 1st and 2nd place in the Tour of Rio by Gommeren and Moggi I took a good jump in the standings en I'm still fighting for the 4th place of last year! I had to sell Delaby to get some money in. 1.000.000 for a 18-flatter is not much, but it keeps me going for some extra weeks... I feel now that my long-term thinking (some nice riders between the ages of 21-27) is gonna be quite hard for some seasons Still have to see how long I can keep my youthscout, he has given me some good riders (1 to keep and 2-3 to sell), but I won't keep him for long now, too expensive in these times of financial crisis

Havent been able to put much time in peloton the last week. Today I even had punkskas disease: i forgot to set team orders... About our division: it seems like its Neo-time . Very good results in general standings! About my team: in januari I will have to sell a lot of riders. Way to many riders with a longterm plan. My trainer can't handle the big training group . But who should i keep and who should i sell? So difficult...

But who should i keep and who should i sell? So difficult... 46 riders is indeed a little too much Certainly too much -22year riders. I would check which riders are your best and then keep 1 or 2 (max 3)of each age I your case you would keep max 3 of 21y, 3 of 20y and 3 of 19y, then you would sell already 11 riders, that brings you already to 35 riders. Then you could check whether you would sell some extra riders with high ages, expiring contracts, to high weekly wages, etc... Good luck!

Smiling was too tired :-) Still I'm very happy with my 4th place (was hoping for the podium, but yet...) Being the only rider in the top without training fitness I'm proud of myself to have fought till the last stage
I think I'll have to start training fitness next sesason, because my general standings are my strong point, but I can't conquer against the extra fitness (most of all in the great tours where there are multiple trainings...)
But still congratz to Salvetti, Oedekerk and Iorga

On the other hand I'm happy Smiling didn't win the Giro, because his bonus is too high (80.000). So if he had won, I would receive 175.000 - 80.000 = 95.000 and now I receive 105.000 with my 4th place
So for the financial side it's good, not for the points...

Havent been able to put much time in peloton the last week. Today I even had punkskas disease: i forgot to set team orders... Glad to see I've become an inspiration Giro - pretty good moneywise, 500k+ in bonuses today. With Iorga I ended up giving 100% effort today. With another minimum effort attack somewhere else and 95% today I guess yellow would've been likely? Damn. I probably could've done better with Feringa in the points jersey but eh, this is the game. Everyone else was better than me somewhere Gisriel 14th overall while never attacking and ending on 93% fitness is crazy. newborn - ahem, I think you'll find I don't train fitness either. I didn't actually notice whether Nightbiker did with Salvetti but if he did, Iorga is the non-fitness winner Other - woah, how did Caillat go for 1.5m+ today? He'd been listed twice for 500k already and didn't sell. Hadn't popped in anything since so it's not that. Weird. Not complaining at all though, finances looking much nicer. Good to know that riders can still go for high prices too - maybe I'll sell another one or two soon.

Well i hope they go for high prices. Soon i will have to put a couple of riders on the transfer list. My savings are disappearing really fast in this division. I must say i am pretty amazed of the high level of this division. My ambition at the start of the season where to stay clear of relegationzone. And had good hope. But the reality is quite different. For the future of my team relegation is probably best. But as a competitive manager i still have ambition to stay. So i will keep trying and hope for the best. And today's TT was a nice start.
