Congrats to Elite for winning the tour. Hard to believe I didn't win todays race. Claereboudt was third in the Giro sprint race (where Fokkens won), Gheorgiou is better than Fokkens and had 19% more fitness than Claerboudt today. Still some things I don't understand in this game. Probably the helpers made the diference, this time I put helpers with high sprint skill

About Giro I was especting a win today but I didn't use full effort and probably that was the reason.Tossboom can you share the sprint points of Fokkens? (flat + 2x sprint) My sprinter has 27 points. According to ElGringo's post on April 18, I think Clearboudt didn't use full effort in the Giro sprint race (April 18), so I think that could explain the difference. In the sprint race in TdU Clearboudt beats Gheorgiou in the sprint.

Yesterday Fabbro beat the 2 starrs from De Koereurs, Strassera and Roquiny A very good performance Yes, it was pretty hard to see that it was such a hard contested stage. I think some of the best cyclists from our division went for the stage, but Roquiny isn't my superstar anymore Anyway, today Fazio and Spielman did a great job. I think Spielman had some revenche feelings for seeing his ex-team win

I was expecting more from Matalone, but I renew contract with him recently and he is not very happy, so that could explain why he lost many time today, when we should be in the front group.

Well, I must say I am very interested in knowing the skills needed for today's race. Are the best cyclists actually the ones with 7 downhill, or not?

I completely changed my original plans once I saw what the attack points were. In the end went with my best downhill rider who was on 100%, he only has 6 dh still. 11 flat. Came 2nd in 2:1.

By the way, do you also notice strange things when you attack with two cyclist at the same point? At the first attacking point both Ximenes and Van Quaquebeke attacked. The first stays in the peloton while the latter is in group two. Based on their skills I would expect Ximenes to be in at least the same group as Van Quaquebeke. I've observed it more often when I attacked with multiple cyclist that they end in different groups then I expected.

I was expecting a win today, my rider has more then 7dh but onlu 60kg.

Tactics set for next tours. I think the first one with ITT and TTT is very difficult to judge. I think I'm not going to win any stage, but finish high in first, third and CG Or I could be wrong and win a stage and finish very low in all the rest I really have no idea...

Yup, a week of decisions and also to make the right ones because Vuelta is here too and you need TT.
