My man for GC had two falls and a flat tire today :/ Guess this is not going to be his tour :-) Tomorrow you will get your 1st win. I will have to wait to a new opportunity, maybe friday. There are many new teams and we don't know the best riders so umpredictable.

Yes, I was going for the win, and it worked. Not that much space left to Tossboom who had exactly the same tactics, but he was very strong too. We were the best from the world Now let's hope Nastasia or Strassera can use this small advantage to finish top-15

Well, I did expect a win for the Koureurs, however the gap is pretty small. By the way the average speed of the winner was nearly 70 km/h!
As expected a last place for me today. I didn't focus on the the TTT and brought a youngster instead and maybe I can go for a second stage win.

Very happy with the second place finish from Lacroux. I was a little worried before today in that I thought I might have focused on the wrong cyclist for the race... Lacroux was quite a ways back. But the last stage proved me right in terms of deciding which rider to focus on.
Even though Lacroux and Goorts are two of my main stage race guys, the fact they finished 1st and 2nd in the first two stage races makes me think I can hang in division 2 at least. I saw several teams that destroyed me in division 3 get sent back from division 2 the following year so I was a bit worried. It's still early but I feel like avoiding demotion is an achievable goal.

I'm happy too :-) I think there were a lot of good cyclists not going 100% or not participating. But winning is winning. Without a fall maybe even a stage victory, but no

A difficult start of season for me, and lack of results. Lets see if the team can respond better in the mountain terrain. Great start by BeterLaatDanNooit, you are pointing to promotion

Great start by BeterLaatDanNooit, you are pointing to promotion So far so good for my team. I'm lucky most of my choices fall to the good side so far (except today maybe). Let's see how far it will bring me. There could change a lot, after all we're just started. Today an impressive show by De Koureurs with place 2 upto 5, while GIK takes his first victory. This means only ElGringo has no stage win so far, but I'm almost sure you will get one, at least you have proven that you have the qualitiy to win. By the way, what's wrong with the Italians they're all in the bottom region. I expected them a lot better, especially Titani and San Brunone have strong cyclists.

Grmbl. I hate being second edit: I hate it even more if the first one is the fastest of the world Those cyclists should be in 1:1 ^^ I'm just surprised we did so well, even Van Den Brandt finished higher than 1:1 and he has already had some injuries

Wow. One of my best mountain cyclists going 100% got absolutely trounced. Not even close.
Looks like focusing on the hills should be my priority.

Yesterday was a weird result, also in other divisions. I already asked Schizm to look into it. My mountain man lost 2 minutes on the first mountain, going at 99%, mountain skill 16. I have no doubt that Quatannens boys have a higher skill, but surely not all riders in the first group.

TT is also important, and the weight. An unexpected win for me today, but I'm happy. I have no idea if I should put effort for last stage and how much

Stage 1 was probably mostly due to the long sections. All of the attack points until the last downhill were 13km or more. Mostly we have a lot of 10km or less attacks which I'm guessing have less of a total time impact when you lose ground. I think we've seen that on some flat stages with long attack points before too.
Perhaps with smaller sections, my rider loses 3 minutes rather than 9 and a half. 3 minutes wouldn't have fazed me that much.
