Personally I'm glad Spigniii!! (if you are indeed going inactive as it appears) and EGV landed in opposite division 2s, and glad that Nightbiker who looked stupidly dominant last season landed in 2:2. It somewhat balances out last season where 2:1 got 3 division 3 winners, and the stronger relegated teams from 1:1 also. The OP has teams placed in order of last season, a personal prediction: P&P and De Mech favourites for promotion. I guess by default I'd be 3rd favourite but I'm not aiming for it. The middle of our division is very close also. Would fancy all of the promoted teams to have at least a chance of staying up, with Zapardiel and lambs&lions in a fair amount of risk. But it looks very open, maybe even more so than last season. I'm currently on 88 career wins, won 11 races last season, so one aim is to go 1 better this season, 12 wins would put me on 100 which is a nice goal. I meant to save last season's final table, but I think 11/16 time jerseys left the division. I'd like to win at least one of those also, and a general aim to better in the big tours, but I'm not entirely sure my squad is built for it, was hoping to add a top rider or two which I've not yet been able to. Unsure how many of you guys are active on the forum, know RaymondC is I should be around not too long after most days races to post the results if nobody else is.

You can always check the old standings! Just watch seaseon 8 and you will see everything as it ended last season Time jerseys: 9/16 promoted, 4/16 remained and 3/16 demoted Point jerseys: 2/16 promoted, 8/16 remained and 6/16 demoted (strange distribution this ) Mountain jerseys: 5/16 promoted, 10/16 remained and 1/16 demoted Victories: 27/90 promoted, 51/90 remained and 12/90 demoted

Hello guys,
First at all, keep it up Punkska, I usually follow the discussion here even though I do not post that much. Second, I hate to say, but I do not consider myself a favorite for promotion. I finished on 3rd position just because the next 3, 4, 5 or 6 teams have kept splitting up points. As long as I do not have a good rider for the big tours, I do not consider myself worthy for promotion. My goal is similar with the one I had for the previous season: one of the spots in the top 5.

Froyman. One of my favourite riders in my team for whatever reason, was injured a lot last season and didn't win anything, so I'm glad he's back. Have been considering selling him actually, but in the end I gave him a new contract this morning, and that mood bump was probably key. Looks like he beat a couple of really decent riders too, Scherer (400+ rider points last season) and Carotone (with his high wage + mood). Suellentrop looking the early favourite for another yellow jersey.

Wooooow, 2/2. I didn't expect that one. Old man Debruycher. Maybe he's just earned a new contract too. Looks not many teams went for today's stage though (time is 2 minutes+ slower than 2:2 as well), likely making tomorrow tough.

Indeed I've used my weaker riders for the first stages in each tour. Things are going to speed up a bit.

Hey, Hüsker Dü, I was wandering where this nick comes from.. doesn't ocure to be English.. ? Or should I say Brittisch?
Dezza1 with fitness trainer.. You are coping in top 3 but do you expect to promote, I wander?
Up till now best teams seem to be: Hüsker Dü and De Mechelaars, well done!

Sorry! I only went 95% as well, glad the risk didn't cost me I guess, but I'm not sure where all these victories are coming from - I'm almost half way to last season's total already. *edit* that was a response to your previous post, I've had this page open for ages. Hüsker Dü are an American band (well, were). In Scandinavian (yes I know that's not one language ) the phrase means "Do you remember?". Why this is my cycling team name...Well I don't really know, I hate choosing names for things like this, I guess I was listening to a lot of Dü at the time and the translation I quite like, plus it has unnecessary umlauts! I'm sure we can all appreciate those. As for this season...I'm definitely doing better than I expected so far, as long as I get to 100 victories and 3rd or 4th I'll be happy (hey I'm an Arsenal fan, of course I'm happy with 4th )

I expect to move up in the top 3 at the end of this week. Let's see if prediction skill works!

Tried to win my first stage today.. halas, 9 seconds short Didn't take you much longer to succeed Happy with 3rd on an 85% attack today, bodes well for future flat races (if only I had more Loete's!) Really unsure how Algarve will go for me, mostly untested riders. Only 150 points separating the top 6 teams now, close.
