Congratz Joachim, 2 in a row and you passed me in the division standings Today I used 2 helpers to stay with my GC guy, but I also had an attacker. So I think my helpers didn't help to speed up the peloton. In todays race report we can see that first a large group of cyclist loses contact with the peloton on the first flat part but these cyclist are in the same time after part 7. But parts 1-7 are all flat parts. So the peloton isn't going fast enough to stay in front of a group that had lost contact earlier. In stage 2 I didn't attack and used 3 helpers. As far I can see Tour.Cycle.Club and my team were the only non attacking teams in this stage.

Neo did you use helpers? I use 3 so the peloton pace should be higger. nope, i took a guess this stage only one helper and my best flatter had save fitness so that's why my riders didn't help avoid a big gap hopefully my riders can come back when we come to the mountains otherwise the TT and the stage of yesterday f*cked my general standings… We'll see :-)

2 stages to go. De Quint with the yellow De Quint already got the green jersey, lets see what will happen in the mountain stage and the TT.

I think De Quint is sure about the points yersey. The time yersey will depend on how much he loses on saturday's mountain stage. Last mountain stage he lost 17 minutes on the first one.

De Quint rides every mountain stage on save fitness , so he won't win it. A big surprise to me that he is in the top spot this late in the tour but I don't have any expectations for him in the GC. He is only in it for stagewins and the Green jersey.

I think Lazar will win the time jersey. He has 78% fitness and he ended second in stage 4 (with 50km mountain) and won around 15' at the de Quint.
By the way De scheefspuiters has a strong team: 3 cyclist by the first 6 in the GC and all 5 top 15.

I think my cyclist Germis will win some places, but he won't win this Giro. I also want him in the Tour De France so he won't use that much fitness

Congr a Schizm! De Quint is really a monster and i think that in serie A he could win a lot of races too!!! (but for me the best of Schizm is De Joncker ) Lazar has good chances of victory, but i don't know the riders of De Sche... and for this reason all it's possible! As i said Barbantini is not ready for the Giro or Vuelta, but in the Tour he will go well (I hope ^^)

For the mountain stage my gess for the winner of the stage will be between Borrego and De Vreese with some advantage for Borrego because of his sprint skill.
For GC Lazar is the big favourite with 2 stages to go but everything could happen till the finish line.

Thanks, Stenes.
DQ wins a lot more points then De Joncker, but I guess the combination of skills of the first one is a lot less common. We 'll see in the TDF then where Barbantini will be up against De Joncker.
(without bad luck) Lazar will win the GC, and the stage of tommorow is made for Borrego (and De Vreese). I hope that Wulf can limit the damage tomorrow and gain some places in the GC. My main man for sunday's TT is out of the Giro, injured, so I guess after this weekend I will be further away from a promotion spot.
