Nikeboy - I'm not sure what to think of this! You give the impression that who ever screams the loudest gets his request done.
And what about the 1st stage of Vuelta a Castilla y Leon? Incidently it's still on the first page of the bugs forum: Races not Simmed
We (those that have been hit by this bug) did neither get financial compensation nor the points!
I'm still quite happy with the game - so knowing the scarce resources I let it rest and didn't complain anymore. A consistent course would be much appreciated.
I had given this one to IP and I (wrongfully) thought it would get fixed.
It seems not, I will take a look at it again ...
It has nothing to do with screaming loud. Normally I avoid the one who screams the loudest...
Hmm - about the bolded part - that might be very difficult because the missed stage was the first one of a 3-stage tour. In the end it was counted with only the 2nd and 3rd stage being considered.
The damage wasn't as big as the one with the Portland Youth Challenge because it was only 1 stage and not a single race. And we didn't have those multiple fees. I don't think that it can be resimmed now. But that is ok for me.
I just wanted to point out that there is some imbalance created: A single race that has been missed due to coding errors (or in general technical problems) could be resimmed with some trickery (fatigue set to 100% again). With a stage of a tour this can't be done.
Therefore my idea would have been to either: Either resim the race before the next race has taken place or only give financial compensation. Any other action creates new imbalances.
Indeed I'm suffering from antother severe effect from the missed race: My cyclist Stijn Ducarme (19478) missed a race! But I promised him 10 races for the saison and he only had 7 until now. (No problem there, too. If he doesn't get injured he will start at the Tour de Rio and everything is fine).
