To beat me general the whole Giro, or just to be faster in the TTT?

no, in general... damn I guess I can't beat you in the TTT!... seriously, my goal in the Giro is to win a stage... I don't think i can do much more...

Well, who has got the riders for the GC then? Last season, the TTT and ITT made the difference in the Giro and Vuelta.

yeah, but the TTT was in the last stage not in the first, I made the difference in 2:4 giro with the final TTT but as it is i don't see how the mountain kings can be stopped. I see EGV and merles on the podium...

You really don't want to know his TT skill :-) (It's less than 1 ) Borrego also lacks some mountain to compete with the real mountaincyclists. Maybe he can follow if they go 70% as the differences in quality are less, but I've already made my selection a while ago.

Bloedzak is coming with his best team. Together with him I have to try to get rid of the decent flat/tt cyclists in the mountain stages to gain time for the general standings. 8 of the 9 highest TV-value mountain cyclists in the Giro are from our teams. Somehow I didn't plan a sprinter for the Giro. Not sure why I didn't (edit: I guess I thought they would drop from the front group).

Final standings GC Giro (I think): 1. Guiggi (Bloedzak) 2. Colombo (PAN) 3. Christmann (PAN)

mmm... many thanks Ab for the consideration, but I really don't think Christmann can reach the podium, maybe Colombo can fight for the 3rd place as was in the past, but I guess here we have too much mountain riders that can beat him and give minutes... Setting the right tactics will be imoprtant, and luck too, with flat and falls... Last season I was lucky with the final TTT, but now we have it at the beginning, so definitely I don't feel so confident in the GC... anw good luck to everyone!

Nice, Roquiny strikes again! Unfortunately I did some very stupid things the first race (saving fitness) so instead of going 85%, he went 60%. Anyway, he wouldn't have won the tour, so no problem!

I am ancious for a big tour and the favourite for me is Kenzo De Ganck or Guido Guiggi.

Quatannens you already use extra effort in 3 riders after 1 stage, there was no need to use the 3 to win the stage Strange result from WC Bloedzak, I thought that his team had trained TT already. The better mountain rider on GC it seems to be Cozijnsen for now.
