finally!!! Depla, one of my top player, used in this minigiro and not in Giro d'Italia, won race, gpm and sprint! I leave the hot zone and for the GIRO, Fabbro and Guala are ready to challenge the men ranking Congrats SteNes on the win by Depla! And your Fabbro is already the leader of the Giro. But there are so many great mountain guys, so I really don't know who will win in the end. The Lions made the pace again yesterday, but they lost a lot of time in the TTT. I think the decision will be made in the very last stage. My goal is a win in one of then flat stages. In the general classement I won't have a chance. My best mountain guy (well, he's a former Lion) Greindl lost nearly 4 minutes...

Thank you ^^ For the finally ranking of the Giro, i hope in a place in the first 10 both Fabbro than Guala, but i know that there are a lot of riders many competitive. I think that the next 2 stages, with a lot of flat and hill, could break the hopes of the riders with only mountain for example. In the last season we have seen riders losing many times in similar stages... I think that, after this 2 stages, we could have an idea of the potential 5-6 riders candidate to win ^^

mmmm i think 5 place in the first 10 are already taken! I just hope that lions will lose some time in the next tt (which actually has a lot of mountain...so probably they won't! )

I have no idea who will win the Giro - any optimism I had for my own team took a nosedive after we lost over 7 minutes in the TTT. That leaves an awful lot of time to make up on the mountain stages, while we are still vulnerable to lose even more time in the flat stages. I guess we will also lose some more time on the penultimate ITT stage, although not as much since it has climbs. I noticed Greindl doing very well...*sigh*...never should have sold him

I correct my evaluation of three hours ago!
we have to wait for the result and ranking on Monday to get an idea of the 5 riders who will fight for the final! Now it's again soon! ^^

Again no win! 2nd ok but no win. Seems I can't get the "0" of the tables. But with a poor TT-skill not bad for Habay. Though he will not be able to get a good ranking in the Giro, he made my weekly finance look good and keeping me away from financial break-down. Conratz to Franconia's Veland

I can just keep my balance positive, also becaus I sold some older cyclists and bought some young

Veland likes such flat stages with many hills (and no mountains!). So he will attack again today. But I expect more attacks than in the last stage because there are just two stages without mountains left...

Two in a row for Veland. Great! Damn my youngster met the earth! Trying to catch up with Otjacques. But even that is difficult! And still waiting for all the other cyclists to get injured so finally I can win a stage.

He is very motivated to keep it and he is quite good in the mountains. Only 50 points between us. I'm coming closer

As I said the other day, we can now imagine the eligible candidates winners of the Giro D'Italia:
Greidel (fit 99%) = now he is the first, in mountain stage losed only 3'41 and in TTT arrived 2nd... Signorotto (99%) = 2nd at 1'28. Great Climber, if he will not lose much time in ITT... Nucci (95%) = complete rider. If he will not lose many times in Mountain...
Possible Jolly:
Becerro (montezelo) = if he will not lose in mountain, in ITT he can win a lot of advantage!!!! Guala (SOD) = all his chance will be in the last stage! Tarquini (Pavè) = attention!
Possible surprises: The other men of Pavè, Fabbro (but it's difficult) and mister X di other team (as for example some man of Lions, if they will many times in mountain stages!)

I don't follow the battle for the end victory in the Giro. My first cyclist is now already on 11 minutes. Today was a good day for me and a second and third place brings me to 9th position in the division, close to the safe 8th place. To much mountain for me the rest of the week so probably only a short time on this place. Carotone was too strong for me today. Even in a group of three my cyclists couldn't get away on the last attack point. Bit unlucky, it would have been nice to take another victory. chakra: lost a lot of time for the youngster yersey. Hope to win in back in the mountains

Well done to Team Franconia's Greindl - currently leading GC by a good margin - great to see an ex-lion doing well Like Greindl I had 2 of my climbers on save fitness today...but mine got absolutely hammered, losing lots of time. From now on I will instruct my riders on flat stages to ride behind the team cars whenever the commissaires aren't watching, and also to have many small mechanical problems with their bikes requiring them to clutch onto my team car for km after km while my mechanic pretends to fix something

joachim: Otjacques will certainly catch up with my van Gunst in the mountains. vG is mediate in the flat but his mountain skill is dramatic. So you will not need to put a lot of effort for it.
As for the Giro and the rest of the season. I think (am pretty sure) I will race next season in 3rd Div. But...I'll be back!!

Well done to Team Franconia's Greindl - currently leading GC by a good margin - great to see an ex-lion doing well After getting the pink jersey today Greindl told me that he immediately wants to be a Lion again. Then he'd have some great teammates for helping him in the mountains Well, I don't think that he can keep the pink jersey. His only good helper (De Keersmaeker) won the Giro last season, but his mountain skill is far too weak now. So Greindl will be alone in the next few stages. He saved some fitness today, but I'm happy about every mountain that he crossed in the top group
