Question:
When does the mood changes? The guy who won the Vuelta still is satisfied. Now that I think of it, I can't remember a single mood change this season with one of my riders.
Does anybody knows how this goes exactly?

Not exactly, but I believe that you need about three stage wins for the mood to rise one level. One time jersey is usually not enough for a mood rise (you need another victory). But it is strange that you didn't notice any mood change this season. Are you sure?
My thoughts for the requirements are: three stage wins, one stage win + one time jersey, two stage wins + one other jersey, but I might be little off.

I think is about right. I got a raise from ok (low) to contect after one stagewin and a time jersey. Maybe you did had some moodchanges, but you just renewed their contract and they dropped a little bit?

Maybe you did had some moodchanges, but you just renewed their contract and they dropped a little bit? Then that should be it. I don't have riders who won both stages and jerseys. So if you win 3 stages, nothing happens? And 2 jerseys, also nothing happens?

Winning only stages or jerseys is also good! Don't know how many jerseys and stage wins you need though.

I'd add that failed attacks (not breaking away from the peloton) seem to have a negative impact on mood.
I had some guys that were borderline on their sprint being high enough to go away, but had stages were I attacked 3-4 times with that guy. It decreased the mood of those cyclists from content to ok.
If you had stage wins that seem like they should be enough to raise their mood, but you also had a lot of failed attack attempts, that could be a factor as well.
the "rider X seems to be frustrated" message seems like it might correspond to the attacking mood hit.

Are you sure? I can't remember any mooddrop from my cyclists outside contract negociations...

Well... I have several riders who are at OK who I've never negotiated with since buying them early this season. The only connection I could find was they all had a good number of failed attacks and they all dropped after a stage where they failed attacking and got the "rider is a bit frustrated" message.
These were high terrain guys with only 2-3 sprint at the time where I didn't have much of a chance at the stage so I tried attacking 3-4 times with the guy at 100% just to see if I got lucky.
Instead, their mood dropped.

The mood drops after a bad race result. Because the bot-teams are removed this season, cyclists can be at the last 10 sport again of a race. I think this could mean a decrease in mood (like in v1 of Peloton).

I think this could mean a decrease in mood (like in v1 of Peloton). That COULD be it... but it doesn't quite fit with what I've seen with my team. I have a rider Rodrigo Seabra (8406) who is currently at OK for mood. He was 2nd in the Tour de France for 3:3... so obviously his season hasn't sucked. His total races this year: Rund um Kolm - 26 of 54 Borneo 1 - 9th of 54 Borneo 2 - 3rd of 54 Borneo 3 - 27th of 54 Borneo overall - 16th of 54 TDF 1 - 31 of 55 TDF 2 - 38 of 55 TDF 3 - 39 of 55 TDF 4 - 7 of 54 TDF 5 - 2 of 54 TDF 6 - 4 of 53 TDF 7 - 3 of 52 TDF 8 - 14 of 52 TDF 9 - 35 of 52 TDF 10 - 4 of 52 TDF 11 - 4 of 52 TDF 12 - 11 of 52 TDF overall - 2 of 52 He has had several stages where he attempted attacks and didn't get away (rund um kolm, Borneo 3, TDF 12... possibly another in the Tour somewhere)

Another example:
Elio Holleman (200)
Only has ridden 4 races for my team since I bought him:
Here are the results. Not great, but no bad results either: 4/12/2013 RES Finished 8 in Schaal Sels 3/28/2013 RES Finished 11 in Mooi Friesland 2/19/2013 RES Finished 14 in Copa Federacion Venezolana de Ciclismo Corre por la Vida 2/6/2013 RES Finished 10 in Paris-Roubaix
50ish riders in each race.
PR - Attacker (2 spots, 100%) - failed both attacks. Second one gets message "Holleman's attack failed! He looks a bit frustrated! "
CFV - Attacker (2 spots, 100%) - failed both attacks. Second one gets message "Holleman's attack failed! He looks a bit frustrated! "
MF - Attacker (3 spots, 100%) - Failed all 3 attacks. Never got the "frustrated" message.
SS - Helper at 100%.
Not sure if it was after the 1st, 2nd or 3rd race his mood went down... but it definitely did. Almost positive I never attempted to sell him either

I got one cyclists at ok, and I guess he got some failed attacks too, so could well be that failed attacks leads to decreasing in mood. I think that is very strange. Attacking shouldn't be discouraged like this.
