Sad to hear Borrego en van den brandt are injured. The difference is only ~200 points. So there is nothing lost yet! There is still Manussen and his companions. I got lucky to win the Clasica S. Sebastian today. It's still weird to see Durão win the race, while there are better skilled cyclists in my team who competed this race. But there are still lots of flat races to come and that's where my cyclists are not good at (yet) 2nd place is still a possible target for me, but I guess Spigniii!!! won't let me pass his team. So I guess it will be a tough competition in 2.4 next season between De Koereurs and ALESANA. And who knows the Metrics and possible new teams. My goal this season is to remain in top 5 (which I think won"t be very difficult) and to win 15% of the races. So I got still 5 races to win.

second goal won't be difficult to achieve either with roland in vuelta.
Second place is still totally not assigned and i guess there is plenty of points to reach it at the end of the season forall of us three....Good luck!

Yeah, I like victories Let's hope the fitness advantage can help me a little the last week. It will be very unpredictable who will win. The mountain TT will make some time differences, but is it worth it to spend fitness with still two stages to come?

The Vuelta is going to be decided the last two stages... In the mountain TT Roquiny was able to close a big part of the gap with Furlan, but Bertol came very close as well. I guess Furlan won't make it with only 55% fitness left. Roquiny has a small fitness advantage over Bertol, but will it be enough to keep him behind? Or are we focussing wrong and are Duris/Tamange capable of doing something we don't expect?

I expect Roquiny to win the Vuelta. Too much fitness gap with the other two, and as well he always stayed with the group in the mountains so very difficult to gain some minutes....
Bertol and Furlan will fight for the second place most probably.
All this without taking into consideration weird tactics or flat/falls!

I go for Fransolet When all those in front of him falls, get injured... ;D No seriously Roquiny has the best cards. It depends on what tactics Quattannens will play the final stages. Attack? At what point? At what effort? ALESANA will defend his mountain and perhaps points jersey Or at least try to. There are still enough points to defeat Roland. I was able to close the gap with Spigniii!!! to 20 points. But the season ain't over till it's over. Still aiming for the top 5 (which will not be so hard) and 15% race wins (A bit harder to be succesfull at) Wish you all good luck @ the Vuelta.

I got one day left to think about the best possible tactic I hope Roquiny can win, that would be a big surprise The advantage still isn't that big... btw: The gap with Spignii is 110 points

Yes, the gap between Spigniii!!! is 110 , but was 20 points.I'm still thinking of the tactics too. Attack or not attack. That's the question. If Roquiny will win is something else, but the yellow jersey is 'blinking' for him. Things have to go terribly wrong to not win the Vuelta. As easy it was to win the Giro for Roland, as hard is it now to defend his position and his jerseys. The 'jersey'-rankings will be good. But at what place? Still 24 hours to go to know the results. Hope to gain some points at Quebéc.

Oeps!! He didn't, indeed. I was a little bit confused. He did win points and jersey and 6 races. But you're right gelies; It was Tamagno. ;D

Strange to see Borrego lost time today. He has way better skills than van den Brandt. I guess it was because I let him attack... But whatever, I won, so it was a good race

It was close. Perhaps I should have let Brouillet go for the sprint. Weird race rapport.
The race rapport mentions Van Den Brandt won the race. But in the ranking Brouillet is on place 1.
Guess it was a photofinish with corrections afterwards saying that VDB indeed did win the race.
The gap between place 2 and 4 in our Div is really small. Difficult to tell who will promote. My prediction: Spigniii!!! will be 2nd, De Koereurs 3rd and Alesana 4th.
Pasquariello failed in achieving points to close the gap with Roland as 'best' cyclist of Div 2.4. With two mountain races to go. It will be very exciting.

Today was the big day. Attack at 100% from Roquiny. He had to do it all alone. I was just afraid someone else would attack and get a big time advantage. Now with 6 minutes in front, there surely will be attacks tomorrow. I hope Dinslage can do his job and keep the gap small enough. Otherwise it will be a tragic way to loose the Vuelta

6 minutes is more than enough.... i think that the vuelta is finished right now. It's just a matter of who's going to win the last stage!
