For me it's the opposite: Nice results in the Tour, more chances to take points until the Vuelta. In the vuelta I don't expect much points. Don't have enough mountain or it should be that Josefsson surprices me again.

Once again two PAN's guys on the podium in a big tour, but this time we can't fight for the victory, Drouin was too strong or at last better managed over the stages, maybe with some less fear to attack and putting save fit we should be in fight for the time jersey but that was... In this Paris stage Schnittjer had not so much fit so he can't compete with Drouin in the final sprint, however Drouin deserved his second tdf's victory for sure... He was the stronger with Puscasu... Congrats Rats! I'm satisfied with this results but the pois jersey should be mine too without those bad injuries and so I'm not completely happy... but shit happens and not to me only... The challenge continues over the hiberic peninsule... let's go PAN and good luck to everyone!

After this tour it is clear that there are almost no helpers in the peloton. And certainly none with good flat skills. It's not that strange as the best flat cyclists don't compete for the yellow jersey and haven't got any advantage chasing attackers. They just go one by one to get as much stagewins as possible. Rats used this attacks in his advantage and just went with them, on a lower effort and took much time. In the mountains he could follow very easy (again, I think not enough helpers for a high pace). I don't know how I can compete for the yellow jersey in big tours. I should put some helpers every day to keep attackers close, so they don't get a huge time advantage? But I don't see how a helper at 70% can catch attackers at higher effort. And I don't want to use all my cyclists for one. I'm afraid I'll just have to be a little bit lucky I wish you all good luck for the last part from this season. Evcont can become first again with all those flat races and the small tour with only flat stages. I don't see how I can take points, so I'll have to wait for the Vuelta But I'm not giving up, let's go all the way!

Ow today's attack strategy was completely wrong... much better set HP an FS and wait for the final sprint... but after the TDF who can say that? It was surprising... I think mine was the best sprinters in the peloton but I failed.... mmm nothing changed at all in the overall, keep on fighting!

Indeed, the attack strategy didn't work out today. Strong helpers in the peloton pushed the tempo very high. My attackers on 100% stayed in the peloton, but my final sprinter and helper on 85% lost contact with the peloton. Pace must have been high

I had two helpers at 100%, both with some flat and a little bit TT. Unfortunately my sprinter doesn't have enough sprintskill to end high Even with attacks cyclists end higher, next season I might train some more sprint to the flat guys

I might train flat to the sprint guys. Weird tactical race indeed. Perhaps better tomorrow. Joachim is sprinting away from 7th place and Rats tries to catch up 6th place??

Lol, I really don't get the new ME. How can you get 1-3-4-5? The first is a late attacker, ok. But number 3 is probably a final sprinter at 80%, the 4th is probably a final sprinter as well at 100% and number 5 isn't even a final sprinter. He is a helper... What are their skills? 7 Flat and a lot of sprint? Wonder if the flat-competition really is that easy Where was Evcont today by the way? Even I did better ^^

hehe... I'll tell u that today's race wasn't only flat based... there was some mountains on the road... indeed pure flat guys wasn't able to keep the peloton's pace... a perfect race for my team. but I'll tell u more.... cause I'm so happy today and we're late in the season and nothing can change the skills at now. I'll remember you that HPs take part in the final sprint... I guess u know at this point in the season that my guys have everybody a good sprint skill.... that's why today I finished 1,3,4,5....

Yes, but it seems like you are the only one with decent sprint skill And helpers sprint too, I know, but a final sprinter gets a boost for the last sprint and helpers don't. So even with a lower sprintskill, final sprinters can/should beat final sprinters

I'm not talkin about "decent" sprint value... I'm talkin about gooooood sprint value...

Yeah, good sprint value But if you really have a good sprint value your cyclists will lack other skills (flat/mountain), so they should drop without helpers for example. I just don't like flat races
