Completely agree Regarding more diversity in sprints : I am working on this. This was already planned from the beginning of the new RE : luck in sprints and not pure calculation.
I could apply the same for attacks ... but we have to watch out that the race is not pure randomly decided !

I could apply the same for attacks ... but we have to watch out that the race is not pure randomly decided ! Yeah... more random shouldn't mean totally random. I can't remember the calculation for a finishing sprint... something like 2 X sprint + terrain. If that's right... then you should get some sort of random bonus to a sprint that can allow guys who are close to win sometimes, but not guys who are not. For example: 10 flat 5 sprint = total of 20. 8 flat 5 sprint = total of 18. I think that it makes sense to have a 25% variance. So in the above example, the first sprinter's range would be 20-25. The second sprinter's range would be 18-22.5. The second sprinter would win when he has a good day and the first doesn't... but it wouldn't be very frequent. The closer the skills are, the more often the lesser guy will surpass the better rider. But a guy who was 5 flat and 5 sprint would have a range of 15-18.75. He'll never beat the first sprinter (and rarely beat the second one). Of course the actual calculation would take into account effort, fitness and all the rest that's already there. But a simple boost to that final number from 1.0 to 1.25 seems like it would randomize it enough to make it reasonable.

Now that the funraces are visible again on the site, I can start with my updated RE. I will upload the latest version to the funraces and we can have a look what the result is !(before I drop my code to the official engine)

3 injuries :S Getting really annoying. sell your cyclists if they have injuries is so simple. In v1 all of us who have injured cyclists sell them. But now no injuries, the flat and falls dont count etc Then why we have injuries and fall/falls?

No way I'm gonna sell Acker, Martinez and Cavazza. They are 3 of my 6 best mountain cyclists.

Do you have a summary what changed? - influence of the helpers on the speed of the peloton - slight modifications on influence of TT and terrain skill - complete makeover of the race report regarding attacks ! - grouping of cyclists - fatigue calculation
