Hey,
In yesterday's race one of my riders (who was a helper) took a tumble. He got himself in the second group and drove away from it, but he never got back the first group. It should be more realistic if he gets back to the first group and helps out the other riders in the first group.
The same happened to an other rider who was a sprinter and needed to go for a good result in the final standings. But because all the helpers have gotten behind, he never gets back or even tries to get back.
So my suggestion is: their should be a trigger or event like if someone falls or has a flat tire and gets behind, he should use more energy to get back to the peleton.

Cheerz I believe they do try to get back with the engine as it is. It sounds like he just couldn't make it at his effort level. I doubt allowing the simulation to up the effort level on the fly would be accepted by most managers. I regularly set guys to helper at 70% to conserve energy and then do a 100% attack effort on a later stage. I would be very upset if my riders started using up excess energy to catch on after a fall when I was planning to go for a stage win with them later.
