Team Camargue 1 0 0 0 215 8. Sport Groep Maes Koksijde 0 0 0 0 150 87p so near my bet : 100 p for Italy and Catalunia I expect max 100 p I don't have mountain players too good for Italy p.s. it was better for my general standings on points if we started with 1 day flat races. Till the end of the season i think i could reach 1000p and with some help from Bolt and Petrolistul maybe 1500p My target this season is to finish on place 4 in this group.

You and Bolt Thrower will have a nice battle for place 4. I think Zberg wanted his newly bought Delatorre to participate in the Giro, but because of his holiday he forgot to place him in his team. Now he is only with 4 people in the Giro and noone selected for the mountain points. Yesterday he had bad luck with 2 falls from Schelfthout, though he needed to be in the 4:35 group to beat Barney in the general ranking. Anyway, a fantastic week for EGV. Back at #1 in the international rank

I can't believe that zberg and Genomico distanced us all for more than 7 minutes. I'm the more surprised that my Timon Galus with 5 flat 7 mountain came in in the same group than my Alain Defrain with 7 flat, 2 mountain (admitted: on 80% vs 70% from Galus).

Well, Galus was selected for the mountainpoints. If he is leading the group on the mountains, the group probably lost about 2 minutes because he was using his sprint skill instead of his mountain skill at 12 mountain-km's. And Defrain was just able to hang on to that group, so in each part of the stage he was within 1 minute of Galus so they grouped up again (if this stage was a time trial, Defrain would have lost minutes on Galus).

Ah! You're right. I wasn't completely aware that 3 km per mountain sprint has much more effect than 3 km on flat sprint. But since I guess that your and Zberg's climbers are more likely around 9 in mountain skill I guess Galus wouldn't have kept the first group anyway. So the decision to set him for the mountain sprints seems ok anyway.

Pff, horrible management by me during my absence.
I need to increase the distance with Petrolul to keep ahead of him after the flat races. That job will be even harder with just four riders in the Giro.
Anyway, I am more or less up and running again.

7/15/2012 Read Assistant Ripoll injured!
Ripoll was injured during the last race. He will be out for 3 weeks. Injured: Concussion Cause: collided with a motard and fell on his head
so joelag this player is not in my training pool anymore, from today, and his future at my team is very low. I don't need to think for 2 times.

De Ganck and Brinks from Zberg are about 10.5 and 10.2.

Rarau and Zberg gratz with the stage wins.
Martinez with 10 steering had 6 flat tires in 12 races (of which one was a time trial), very strange.

By the way, be happy that I forgot to assign a mountain sprinter.. Otherwise, Martinez would have had a hell of a job to conquer the moutain jersey..

I took Martinez so you had to use Brink or de Ganck to win the jersey (and I know you wouldn't have done that). If you had chosen Delatorre, Loconsole probably went for the mountain jersey.
Edit: I thought Delatorre had a better mountain skill as Acerbi/Mathiasson.
