At the moment there's someone bidding on his own cyclist. Everytime someone else bids, he bids higher. I think that's unfair because that manager has nothing to loose, if he gets the cyclist he just pays to himself?? In that way he can also make a price unrealistic high.
My suggestion is to make bidding on own cyclists impossible. Because: 1) It's absolutely unrealistic, who sells his own cyclists to his own team??? 2) It can make prices unrealistic high. 3) It's the task of a manager to be sure about selling the cyclist and the starting price.

Maybe not disable, but if you buy your own cyclist you have to pay 10-20% fine or something and the mood of the cyclist will drop to 'wants to leave the team as fast as possible'... This way, if you buy your own cyclist it useless

Everything is ok now. If a rider is transfer listed, his mood drops by 1-2 levels. It's a bit unfair to disable this possibility.

It's not unfair that you can't buy your own players, it would be absolutely normal. I don't understand why it's possible, it's very unrealistic.

You can always change your mind. I think it's ok to buy your own cyclist, but there has to be some kind of penalty (like there is one now). In real life you can negotiate: asking price (often too high) and offers (lower). It's not an auction. Don't understand me wrong. I like the auction system in this game. It's fun.

There is a penalty, but it's so low it does nothing...

I think that if somebody (like in this situation) see's an unfair bid going on, then the person's name should be posted and a reason what this person is doing. That way, everybody can monitor it and if they see this going on and boycott the sale if need be.

boycot a sale? you mean, to punish a guy that is buying his own cyclist, you don't buy that cyclist from him? somehow i don't think that'll bother him that much

I agree, it's unfair! The penalty (1 mood less) for the selling manager, means nothing.
Now it's not a very big problem because not so many people do it. But what if more and more people bid on their own players to increase the selling price?! That would be very annoying and unrealistic.
If you changed your mind and you don't want to sell a cyclist anymore, it's your own fault. There's no managing at all if you don't have disadvantages for making faults...

it's simple, if you don't think a cyclist is worth a certain price, don't pay it.

it's simple, if you don't think a cyclist is worth a certain price, don't pay it. 1 its "cheat" and its not sportmanship 2 its a huge bug that should be correct immediately
