The issue was there for all races up til now, not this race in particular (so also the Giro).
All I can say is that the results will be more realistic from now on.

but how can a better rider user at more effort loose 10 minutes just from 18 km's of sprint? you said that sprinters just use sprint insted of the other skill! or my rider went twice that distance for what? i think you should look further the bud must be something else! Or there is a random factor that takes/gives 10-20 minutes to every rider?

I think that sprinting is done only on flat, so when we were riding hills they were riding flat ofcourse flat takes less time than hill

Sprinting isn't done one anything, only the sprinskill counts there, not in combination with, for example, flat.

no, just that on thouse 3 km's sprint is used insted of the skill! so i don't see how this big gaps can be made

And because there were 4 mountains in today's race, that is 12km less for the sprinters.

well that means vuelta catalunya it's over for me (guess i'll triple check the orders from now on) ! so basiclay only sprinters count for the general standings i can't belived i miseed giro because i've hopped to get all thouse nice $$$ for climbings and not have it count for them

It cost me over 8 minutes just to the first rider, if so this wasn't a 'tweak' but in my opinion a huge mistake.

Same here and I still think it should be re-calculated

i agree and maybe in the future if no sprinter is selected maybe the riders with the higest sum of his abilities should be automaticly picked (for example i would have checked the orders again this morning but the freeking power company did some maintenance work and i couldn't log in cause there was no power)!
