Hey all
What is the current procedure on reporting a suspected cheater? I sent Schizm an ingame message but not sure if that's the right thing to do...
Greetings Vuter

Reporting to Schizm is the way. However, you will not always get feed-back on what happens. It can be that some people use the same IP address for good reasons. ( Schizm is not revealing any details about such situations because of the privacy of the person involved.) Most of the time transactions in between teams with the same IP address are being dealt with by a financial penalty.

Hey all What is the current procedure on reporting a suspected cheater? I sent Schizm an ingame message but not sure if that's the right thing to do... Greetings Vuter Please use the tool, you can find it in Transfers - Search - Report suspected cheaters. After you put a report you can notify one of the mods to speed things of (since these reports do not trigger a automatic notification to us). Like Naspa said we do not communicate about this (to anyone else then the penalised teams (and the other mods). Mostly it will be financial, undoing transfers and that kind of stuff, but only we have solid evidence (not if something only looks or feels strange). BTW : I make an exception for this your hunch was incorrect, I made a bid myself for one of them and only was overbid one or two times ...

18 years can be exspensive. Certainly early season. Some leaders like to have a tabula rasa they can train fully themselves. Now still the 18years with 11-12 skill points are wanted. Depends on division of points, secondaries and lengt-weight as well, This one is only 10 and seems not so special. But I bid the amount of money you see now, because of the LS3. I can use a new youth leader. However, since you attracted all attention on him, I am quite sure someone will overbid me. :-(

Well, do not worry, it is an open game. Everybody can see what is happening on the transfermarket. And yes...For new teams that want to improve fast, it is a good common practice to sell one or two of their 18 year olds. With good LS (3 is nice, 4 excellent), good weight-length (cannot see), nice secundaries (14-14 is beautiful), you can easily get a few hunderd thousands, maybe more if you are lucky and some teamleaders will compete. But of course it is also nice to have a some good 18years yourself to develop them as future stars.

Maybe they are more wanted, but they shouldn't be; as far as I know, all new (untrained) riders have 12,0 points of primary skills in total, but the decimals are not visible.

It makes us very sad to inform all of you that we had to ban 3 teams today (all owned by the same person). This is an action we rather avoid, but the manager in question chose to ignore previous warnings and fines (for buying and bidding on cyclists owned by teams on the same IP-adress) dealt in previous occasions.
So this a warning to all teams that although sharing the same (IP) adress, is tolerated (so relatives, collegues, ... are able to play). Transactions between those teams are not allowed ! A first infringement will only generate a warning (also the transfer will be completely undone), the second time the teams involved will be fined on top of that, after that any further violation of the rules results in a ban (of all involved teams).
Be aware that we do regular scans of the transactions done by teams on the list of teamnumbers who shared the same IP adress in the same time period. Any suspicious behaviour can and should be reported using the Tool in the game itself (you can find that in the Transfers menu) or by comparing teams in their Transfer History.
Keep it fair please !

It is sad it needs to be done. And I guess the 3 strikes is out policy, is more than fair and patient. Having said that, it was noticed the person in question was using different IP's most of the time - being probably caught while getting less carefull. So if there is an IP ban for one address, he/she is probably back already building new teams. (I guess most of us can point out one or two that fit in the pattern.)

And more obvious, a version 3 of a notorious team is even active again at the transfermarket.

Peloton Managers, we have a new moderator in game that will help us checking possible cheaters and other things. A big thanks to naspa for helping us with the game.
