It's no big deal whether you get it or not.
The initial idea was to let weather and temperature have some impact (positive or negative) on possible tactics. With this forecast, you could decide to use this or that tactic depending on what was predicted.
But so far, weather has only a small impact on the weekly supporters you gain per race, so it can be ignored. Maybe it could be included in the new race engine at some point, but there are no concrete plans (so far) to do that.

It is definitely the intention to add weather impact in the new engine. I have worked out some things already, depending on the weather ...
So, it should be fixed

Don't you think everything is getting to complicated? Do you think new users will become long term managers with so many things to take in account?
If you're going to implement this also, then let it be the last thing you change plz. It's about time everything becomes a bit more stable. After the new engine nothing (never say nothing, i know but then as little as possible) should change any more.

Weather should not have an impact on tactics, but it could influence the chance of some things that can happen (but not relevated to tactics or something), no? So keep tactics and weather seperated. Weather could be implented as something that do not or barely influences the choice of your cyclists...

Absolutely ! Weather will never affect the choice of your cyclists ! Indeed, we see it more as a small impact on some events.
The weather now partly decides the number of supporters you get after a race, so it is something you can not do anything about. It has no impact on your tactics nor the choice of cyclists.
To RaymondC : Indeed, you have a very good point ! When things get too complicated, new managers will not do the effort to spend a few weeks trying to figure out how the game works. To my humble opinion, the new race engine is quite straightforward and easy to understand. It has only 4 tactics which have clear descriptions of what the result will be when choosing such a tactic. Along with these tactics there are some small side effects which you will get to know while using them. These things will lead to small adjustments that you will make to your tactics in later races, but it will never lead to drastic changes. Our first priority was to keep the game engine simple and understandable. No one likes a game in which he can't explain the reason for a certain outcome or in which he has to spend at least half an hour to set the tactics for the next race ! That's why the race report will be very important ! It tells the manager what happened during the race, so he can make conclusions on why his tactic failed or succeeded.
